If you are going to play, you need to be committed

If you register for the Tri-boro Titans, please be committed to your team. It is important to us that you take your involvement in the league seriously:

  • Attend all scheduled practices. If there are extenuating circumstances and you cannot be at a practice, notify your coach well beforehand.

  • Arrive at all games one half hour early. This time before the game starts is extremely important to both the players and the coaches. The players need the time to warm up, discuss the roster with the coaches, and get any last-minute instructions for the game. If you arrive late, or worse yet, do not even show up without having given your coach ample warning, it impacts your entire team and could affect the outcome of the game.

The number of boys teams will depend on the number of players who register and the number of coaches who are available to coach. (Rosters may be limited, so if you really want to play, sign up early to avoid being placed on a waiting list.)

Season length:

Boys teams will play an 8 to 10 game season against teams from surrounding communities.

Our home games are currently planned for Horton Field in Attleboro.

Game philosophy:

MBYLL is a non-competitive league. While the boys from each town do their utmost to win games, standings are not tallied by the league.

This sport is new to this area, and the skill level of some players may not be as strong as others during the course of the season because some players have played before and others have not (the more they practice catching and throwing, the better they will be). Coaches, therefore, may use some discretion when positioning players (some players just don't like to run as much as others) or allocating playing time during close games.

Though it can be hectic on the sideline as coaches juggle player substitutions (which are only allowed under certain circumstances), keep track of the time players have been on the field, and simultaneously try to coach those who are playing in the game, please know that we are doing are best to ensure that all children have a rewarding experience and truly enjoy the season.

Note: At the end of each season, the boys will participate in one or more jamborees.
